Friday, August 13, 2021, Bogotá, Colombia – Leading Colombian energy company and internet service provider Celsia is modernizing its fiber broadband network with a AAA transformation from global digital enablement expert Alepo. The network transformation will enable the service provider to boost customer experience (CX) by introducing modern and advanced plans and automating processes.
With demand for residential internet increasing in Colombia, especially during the pandemic, Celsia is committed to improving QoS and network performance. The operator has also been encouraging its customers to stay at home and choose remote support services rather than visiting physical stores. The modernization project will help ensure Celsia is able to enhance services for its customers, many of whom rely on quality internet access at affordable prices while they stay, work and learn from home. In addition to empowering customers, it will also enable the operator to lower operational costs.
Alepo will deploy its Broadband AAA solution for the project, which includes its 5G– and NFV-compliant AAA server, EMS, DHCP server, DNS, and an advanced reporting module. The solution’s modular, open, and virtualized architecture will ensure low-risk rapid implementation, including integrations with the operator’s existing infrastructure.
Alepo’s AAA will enable horizontal and vertical scaling and ensure five-nines availability, letting the operator support its growing customer base while maintaining uninterrupted high-quality services. The platform will grant Celsia full control over session speeds to create flexible and innovative offerings. With advanced analytics and custom reports, Celsia will be able to gain insights into customer behavior patterns and create more granular and contextual offers.
Customers will also receive expiration notifications and, once their plans have lapsed, they will be redirected to the captive portal for renewal. Automations in the platform will enable Celsia to streamline and accelerate the customer sign-up process. Customer profile provisioning will also be automated, and a responsive GUI will enable agents to intuitively use the system.
“At Celsia, we are committed to providing affordable high-quality internet services that help enable our customers’ increasingly digital lifestyles, even more so in the pandemic. We encourage our customers to maintain social distancing and we want to make sure that even while they stay at home, they can access our support services, including billing, plan changes, troubleshooting, and more. Alepo’s AAA Transformation will enable us to keep pace with these evolving market needs while driving ROI. Alepo is among the most reputed AAA vendors and we are confident their platform will enable us to increase automation, boost CX, and improve revenue,” said Diego Armando Ruiz Giraldo, Design and Engineering, Internet, Celsia.
Juan Espinosa, Director LATAM, Alepo, said, “We’re proud to partner with Celsia in their mission to accelerate digitization by making high-speed data services easily accessible to residential users. Alepo’s Broadband AAA will help Celsia bolster its high-speed fiber internet services, improving the network experience and lowering costs. With the system’s advanced and flexible reporting capabilities, Celsia will be able to fully monetize their services.”
